Our Long Silence

We are sorry for the long time between posts. We've actually had a lot to discuss -- revised proposals on the meal and rest regs., updates on our TGI Friday, J. Jill, Guitar Center and Northrop cases, and, of course, Judge Selna's fantastic decision on meal and rest break classifications.Unfortunately, our small litigation firm had to endure three trials during a three week period that also saw key deadlines in three class actions and, on a much sadder note, the death of a colleague, half of whose practice we inherited. We've been referring out and turning away good cases. Unfortunately, the blogging must fall just a tad below signing up new clients, which falls more than a tad below making sure our existing cases are tended to well. When we can, we strive to prepare at least five short topics per week. Once we resume our regular posting schedule, we will get back to that routine.
